About Structuralia

What is Structuralia Academy?

Structuralia is an online educational institution specialized in postgraduate training and high specialization in engineering, architecture and STEM disciplines. Founded in 2001, it has more than 25 years of experience training technical professionals internationally.

Its training model is based on its own programs, designed by active experts, with a practical approach oriented towards real employability. Currently, Structuralia is part of EDUCA EDTECH Group, an international educational group specialized in online training and educational innovation, which reinforces its academic and technological strength.

Who is the Structuralia Academy training aimed at?

Structuralia training is aimed primarily at professionals in the field of engineering, architecture and STEM disciplines who are active and seek to advance their career through an applied technical specialization.

It is especially designed for profiles who wish to update knowledge, leave behind purely operational functions and assume roles of greater technical responsibility, coordination or management, without giving up flexibility or compatibility with their work activity.

With which Universities does Structuralia have agreements?

Structuralia maintains academic collaboration agreements with various universities that support part of its training offer, allowing it to offer double degree programs. Among the main collaborating universities are:

  • Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM)
  • Da Vinci University (UDAVINCI)
  • Technological University of the Mediterranean (UTAMED)

These alliances reinforce the academic rigor of the programs, while maintaining their practical and professional focus.

What academic value does the Structuralia certificate have?

Structuralia programs grant their own qualifications, with curricular value and recognition in the private sector, especially for their high level of technical specialization and practical orientation.

In programs with university agreements, the student receives two certificates:

Structuralia's own title.

The degree from the corresponding collaborating university, when the program includes a double degree.

These degrees are not official within the public university system, they do not qualify for a doctorate or public employment, but they are widely valued in the professional field, especially in technical and STEM sectors.

Methodology and virtual campus

What is the study methodology?

Structuralia's study methodology is 100% online, flexible and oriented towards professional practice. It is based on its own model, EDUCALXP, which places the student at the center of the learning process, allowing them to advance at their own pace and make training compatible with their work activity.

Learning is asynchronous, without fixed schedules, and combines specialized technical content, practical cases and academic support, with a focus clearly oriented towards employability and continuous learning throughout professional life.

What does the EDUCA LXP methodology consist of?

EDUCA LXP is Structuralia's own methodological framework, developed by EDUCA EDTECH Group. It is an educational model that combines:

  • Author's educational technology.
  • Specialized content created and updated by active experts.
  • Human support throughout the training process.

Its objective is to offer a personalized, flexible learning experience aligned with the real needs of technical professionals, integrating technological innovation—including artificial intelligence—with a practical and applied pedagogical approach.

What virtual campus is used for training?

Structuralia uses MyLXP, its own virtual campus, developed as a practical application of the EDUCA LXP methodology.

MyLXP is a digital learning hub where the entire training experience is developed and that allows the student to access content, resources and academic services from any device and at any time.

What is the MyLXP virtual campus?

MyLXP is an online learning platform designed specifically for working professionals. Its main features are:

  • 100% online and multi-device access.
  • Asynchronous and self-paced learning.
  • Specialized and constantly updated technical content.
  • Integration of advanced educational technology and artificial intelligence.
  • Academic support and resources aimed at employability and continuous learning.

The platform is designed to eliminate technological barriers and facilitate a fluid learning experience, focused on content and its practical application to the professional environment.

How many hours of weekly connection are required?

Training at Structuralia is based on autonomous learning, so there is no mandatory number of weekly connection hours.

The student can advance according to their needs, availability and interests. However, as a general guideline, a dedication of approximately between 10 and 12 hours per week is usually recommended to follow the program progressively and make the most of the content.

This recommendation is flexible and adaptable to the pace and circumstances of each student.

Admission process

Is it mandatory to take the admission interview?

The admission interview is only mandatory in the case of scholarships managed in collaboration with the Organization of American States (OAS).

In the rest of the cases, admission can be carried out through the online process or with personalized guidance, without the interview being necessarily a mandatory requirement.

How long does the admission process take?

The admission process at Structuralia lasts approximately between 3 and 5 business days, from the beginning of the process to the communication of the result, provided that all the required documentation has been correctly provided.

How long does it take to contact me if I have completed the online admission process?

If you carry out the admission process online, the Structuralia team will contact you within 24 hours to validate the information and, if necessary, complete the process.

What is the registration process like?

Once admission has been communicated, the registration process is formalized after:

  • Validation of academic and personal documentation.
  • Confirmation of the chosen program.
  • The definition of the payment or financing method, if applicable.

In programs with university agreements, it may be necessary to complete additional documentation required by the collaborating university. After completing these steps, the student receives their access credentials to the virtual campus before the start of the program.

Access requirements

Do I need to have a previous qualification to access?

It depends on the program and the collaborating university with which the training is taken.

  • In the programs with UCAM and UTAMED, it is necessary to have a previous university degree.
  • In programs taught in collaboration with UDAVINCI, it is possible to access through validation of professional experience, as long as this is evaluated and validated during the admission process.

The academic team reviews each application to determine the most appropriate access route according to the student's profile.

What are the access requirements to the programs?

Access requirements vary depending on the collaborating university and the program.

In general, during the admission process academic and personal documentation is requested, which may include:

  • University degree or equivalent accreditation.
  • Identity document or passport.
  • Updated resume.

Each university establishes its own criteria and specific documentation, which are reviewed and validated during the admission process.

What happens if I don't yet have a physical university degree?

If you do not yet have a physical university degree, you can present an official certificate of completion of studies, provided that:

  • Prove that you have completed the degree.
  • Include payment of title issuance fees.
  • Have an issue date of less than one year.

This document is valid provisionally and is subject to the subsequent delivery of the definitive title when it is available.

Scholarships and funding

Are there scholarships and grants to study at Structuralia?

Yes. Structuralia has scholarship and financial aid programs in collaboration with various national and international organizations and institutions, with the aim of facilitating access to highly specialized STEM training.

These scholarships are awarded based on the call, the training program and the availability of places, and are part of Structuralia's commitment to democratize access to quality technical training at a global level.

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?

No. It is only possible to access one scholarship per master's degree.

However, the same candidate could study two different master's degrees with different collaborating universities, opting for an independent scholarship in each of them, as long as they meet the requirements of each call.

Are the application dates fixed?

No. The application dates are not fixed, since they depend on each scholarship and the collaborating organization or entity.

Some scholarships operate through periodic calls, while others are activated according to availability or calls published by the corresponding entity and/or Structuralia.

Are the scholarships compatible with financing?

Yes. In addition to scholarship programs, Structuralia offers financing options and flexible payment methods to facilitate access to training. In some cases, it is possible to combine a partial scholarship with financing, depending on the program and the applicable conditions.

What criteria are taken into account to award a scholarship?

The granting of a scholarship is made after the evaluation of the candidacy within the admission process. The scholarships are subject to the call, training program and availability of places, and their resolution depends on the assessment of the candidate's profile in accordance with the requirements established in each call.

Qualification, validity, homologation and recognition

What qualification is obtained upon completion of a program?

Upon completion of a master's program at Structuralia, the student obtains his or her own qualification.

In the master's degrees taught in collaboration with universities, a double degree is awarded, composed of:

  • Structuralia's own title.
  • The degree from the corresponding collaborating university, when the program includes a university agreement.

Both degrees have curricular value and professional orientation, especially in the private and technical sector.

Are the qualifications internationally valid?

The validity or international recognition of a qualification depends on the country and the intended use of said qualification.

For certain administrative or professional procedures abroad, Structuralia makes available to the student, as an additional service, the Hague Apostille, which allows the document to be legalized and its authenticity certified in the signatory countries of the Hague Convention. The apostille does not imply homologation or automatic validation of the degree.

Is this qualification useful for competitive examinations or public employment?

It will depend on the specific bases of each call and the requirements established by the administration or calling body.

Structuralia degrees are their own degrees, so they do not have official status within the public university system and, in general, do not automatically qualify for competitive examinations or public employment. It is recommended to always consult the bases of the corresponding call.

Is the degree valid in my country?

The recognition or validity of the qualification depends on the country in which you wish to present or use it and the professional or academic context for which it is required.

As support, Structuralia offers the possibility of requesting the Hague Apostille, which legalizes the document and certifies its authenticity in the signatory countries of the Convention, without this implying homologation or automatic recognition by the educational authorities of the destination country.

What are the requirements to pass my training action? Where can I review them?

Once registration has been formalized, the student receives a communication from the academic department detailing the necessary requirements to pass the training action and conclude it.

In addition, this information can be consulted at any time from the MyLXP virtual campus, accessing the corresponding training and reviewing the passing requirements section, which indicates whether the established academic criteria are being met.

How much time do I have to finish my training action?

The deadline to complete the training action can be consulted both on the website and in the MyLXP app.

Within the virtual campus, accessing the registered training, the registration status is shown as “Active”. When you place the cursor over this status, the start date and end date of the program are displayed.

This information is also included in the welcome communication that the student receives when beginning their training.

What is the difference between homologating and apostilling a title?

Homologation and apostille are different procedures and with different purposes:

  • Homologating a qualification implies that an educational authority in a country compares a foreign qualification with a qualification from its educational system and decides whether to recognize it as equivalent. This process depends exclusively on the official organizations of the country where it is requested and is not automatic.
  • Apostilling a title consists of legalizing the document and certifying its authenticity, that is, confirming that the title has been issued by a legitimate institution.
The Hague Apostille does not homologate or validate the title, nor does it make it official within another educational system; It only facilitates its documentary validity in the signatory countries of the Hague Convention.

Do private companies recognize these master's degrees?

The recognition of a qualification in the private sector depends on the professional context, the country and the company in which you want to present it.

Structuralia's master's degrees are their own qualifications aimed at high technical specialization, and their assessment in the private sphere is usually linked to the applicability of the knowledge, the prestige of the institution and the adaptation of the program to the position or sector.

For certain professional or administrative processes abroad, Structuralia offers the possibility of requesting the Hague Apostille, which legalizes the title and certifies its authenticity, without implying homologation or automatic recognition.
