DIRECTOR
Mario Ferreiro Casal is an MSc Civil Engineer, with a master’s degree in Civil Engineering and Expert in Railway Engineering by the Distance Education University. He is a member of the Spanish Transport Association. Ferreiro Casal has more than 20 years of experience in the railway sector, especially in High-speed and city subway/railway line. He also has extensive knowledge of both the design and maintenance solutions to be applied in railway systems and has participated in a multitude of international projects. In addition, Mario has participated in the accreditation and approval of important developments in track materials. He has been a prominent speaker at different conferences related to slab track, AV railway superstructure, unique problems in subways and trams, and high-speed railway maintenance costs, among others. He currently participates in different railway working groups and in specific committees within the sector where his work has been recognized in different technical publications.
